From natural slopes to soil conditions and drainage, we use this info to design a pond tailored to your long term needs—whether it’s for farming, recreation, or wildlife.
Before any digging begins, we mark the pond layout and review the final design with you. This step ensures an efficient excavation with minimal disruption to your property. We also plan for proper access points, water source considerations, and overflow strategies.
Using our own equipment, we carefully dig, shape, and compact the pond to spec—paying close attention to depth, slope, and grade for optimal water retention and flow. We also prep for any necessary spillways or outflow control.

Final Touches and Walkthrough
After excavation, we complete the finishing touches—final grading, edge smoothing, and erosion control. If needed, we add features like rocked spillways or clay sealing for long-term durability. Then we walk the site with you to review the final product and ensure it’s ready to fill and built to last.
