Excavation and Base Prep
Culvert Placement and Backfill
We start by assessing the drainage needs of your property and identifying the ideal culvert location. This includes checking water flow patterns, terrain, and access points to ensure the culvert will perform well and prevent future washouts or erosion.
Once the plan is set, we excavate the area and prepare a solid base using appropriate materials—typically compacted gravel or rock. This step is crucial to ensure the culvert stays in place and drains effectively, even through heavy use or severe weather.
We carefully place the culvert pipe, making sure it’s level and positioned for optimal water flow. Then, we backfill with the right materials, compacting in layers to prevent settling and keep the culvert stable over time.

Finish Grading and Access Restoration
We complete the project by grading the area for smooth transitions and proper runoff, whether it’s under a driveway, roadway, or field entrance. The final result: a clean, durable crossing that’s built to last.
Before we pack up, we walk the site with you to make sure everything matches your expectations. We’ll go over the layout, discuss water fill options, and answer any questions you’ve got. We don’t leave until it’s right.
